Empyrean Jax

Been maining Jax for three seasons now with over 500k mastery points, and when Empyrean Jax dropped I grabbed it day one without hesitation. After spamming around 90 games with it this patch, I can honestly say this skin changes how the champ feels in ways that actually matter. The E animation is probably the cleanest Counter Strike we've gotten, making those split-second reactivations feel more responsive than even God Staff which used to be my go-to.

What really sold me was using it during a baron fight where their fed Vayne tried to kite me out. The W reset animation on Empyrean is so smooth that I could weave autos between abilities without that weird stutter you get on base skin or even Nemesis. And the ult? The visual clarity when you pop it is insane compared to other Jax skins. You actually see the defensive stats kick in with that purple aura, making it easier to time tower dives when you're trying to close out games. The leap strike feels snappier too, though that might just be the sound effect making it seem faster.

Is Empyrean Jax worth it compared to other Jax skins? For 1350 RP it's not just cosmetic eye candy. The cleaner animations genuinely help with combo execution, especially when you're trying to burst down squishies before they can flash away. It's not quite pay-to-win but it's close enough that I'd recommend any serious Jax player pick it up. My experience with Empyrean Jax has been nothing but positive, and I've already unequipped God Staff permanently. If you're on the fence about should you buy Empyrean Jax, just know it's worth every RP for the gameplay feel alone.
