Elderwood Rek’Sai

After 50 games with Elderwood Rek'Sai, I'm honestly shocked how much this skin changes the entire feel of playing her. Most people grab Pool Party for the meme value, but this nature-themed version hits different when you're actually grinding ranked.

The Q burrow feels insanely smooth compared to base skin, like the animation frames got cleaned up or something. Your tunnel entrances blend perfectly with river bushes which has probably won me a few ganks just from enemies not noticing them immediately. But what really sells it is the ult animation where you transform into this massive tree root system before emerging. Last night I dove a fed Jinx under tower and the way the roots spread out made it feel way more impactful than the standard screech and jump. The W prey seeker shoots out these green projectiles that are actually easier to track than her normal ones, which helps when you're trying to hit max range skillshots through fog of war.

Compared to other Rek'Sai skins like Eternum, this one's purely cosmetic but worth the 1350 RP if you main her. Eternum has that mechanical precision vibe, but Elderwood makes you feel like an actual predator stalking through the jungle. The recall where you burrow and a tree grows is maybe the cleanest in her whole collection. My experience with Elderwood Rek'Sai convinced me to stop sleeping on the nature skins in general.

Is Elderwood Rek'Sai worth it? If you're putting serious time into her, absolutely. The smoother animations alone make those clutch plays feel better, and you'll stand out from every other Rek'Sai running default or Pool Party.
