Collector completing Luchador set here, and after 55 games with El Tigre Braum, I can finally give you the full breakdown on whether this skin lives up to the hype. Having every other Braum skin in my collection, this one definitely brings something unique to the table that goes beyond just the wrestling theme.
The Q projectile feels way more responsive than base Braum, probably because of the cleaner animation windup that makes it easier to predict where enemies will dodge. His E shield actually feels smaller visually even though the hitbox is identical, which threw me off initially but now helps me position better in teamfights. And that ult? The ground crack effect is insanely clear compared to something like Crime City Braum where I sometimes lose track of where it's traveling. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to hit a perfect five man knockup purely because the visual clarity let me track the ult through all the chaos and spell effects.
Compared to other Braum skins in the 1350 RP range, El Tigre sits somewhere between pay to win and pure cosmetic. The wrestling moves on his auto attacks don't just look good, they actually help with animation canceling between autos and abilities. But where this skin really shines is the recall animation and sound effects that just make playing Braum more fun without getting old after extended use.
Is El Tigre Braum worth it? For support mains who play him regularly, absolutely. The technical improvements alone justify the price, and the Luchador theme never gets cringe even after spamming games. If you're choosing between this and Dragonslayer though, I'd still lean El Tigre for the competitive edge.
