El Macho Mundo

Probably in a position he'd rather not be in, El Macho will be facing down three of the greatest fighters in modern history for Sunday's no-holds-barred money match. Luckily for him, Mundo has more madness to offer than the federation thinks he's got, and the cream always rises to the top.

Been spamming El Macho Mundo for about 55 games now and honestly, this skin hits different compared to other Dr. Mundo skins. Got it from a chest last month and wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Corporate Mundo, but the wrestling theme actually makes the whole champion feel more cohesive. The mustache alone makes last hitting more satisfying somehow.

The Q cleaver feels cleaner animation-wise than base Mundo and even Corporate. There's this slight wind-up that makes it easier to time for CS under tower. His W burning agony has these flame effects that match the Luchador aesthetic perfectly, and I swear the hitbox visibility is better than most of his skins. But what really sold me was the ult. When you pop it during a dragon fight and go full wrestler mode with that mask appearing, enemies probably get more tilted seeing this massive luchador running at them. Had a game yesterday where I tower dove their fed ADC at level 6, and the combination of the mask animation plus the healing numbers just looked so smooth that their support straight up walked away.

Comparing it to my previous favorite Corporate Mundo, El Macho actually feels less clunky in teamfights. The E headbutt has this satisfying smack sound that Corporate lacks, making it easier to know when your auto reset is ready. Is El Macho Mundo worth it if you're paying full price? Maybe not at 1350 RP unless you're really into the theme. But if you get it from a chest or on sale, it's definitely worth keeping. Not pay-to-win by any means, just pure cosmetic value that makes playing tank Mundo feel more engaging.
