El León Gnar

Got El León Gnar from a chest last month and honestly didn't expect much from a 750 RP skin. After about 55 games though, this wrestler theme hits different than I thought it would. The mask and cape combo actually makes me feel more aggressive in lane, which sounds dumb but it's true.

The Q boomerang feels cleaner to throw compared to base skin, and I swear the animation makes it easier to catch on return. His W proc looks way more obvious with that red glow effect, making it simple to know when you're about to stun someone. But the best part is probably his Mega form ult where he literally suplexes enemies into the ground. Used it during a dragon fight yesterday where their ADC was trying to kite me out, and the slam animation is so satisfying when you catch someone with it. The whole wrestling vibe makes those tower dives feel extra worth when you're fed.

Compared to other Gnar skins like Dino or Snow Day, El León actually gives better visibility in teamfights. The red and gold colors pop off the map better than his usual orange fur, and Mega form is instantly recognizable with that huge mask. It's purely cosmetic though, no pay to win advantages here. The recall where he flexes and poses is kinda cringe but good, fits the whole luchador theme perfectly.

Is El León Gnar worth it? For 750 RP it's solid value if you want something different from the cute skins. Not essential for climbing but if you're a Gnar main who wants to int with style, this one's actually worth grabbing on sale.
