EDG Yuumi

Bought this skin after watching Meiko absolutely pop off with it at Worlds and honestly, it's been my go-to for about 80 games now. The EDG colorway hits different compared to other Yuumi skins, and there's something about that black and silver combo that just feels cleaner in game.

The Q projectile feels way more responsive than base Yuumi or even Battle Principal. Maybe it's the darker color scheme but tracking it through minion waves is easier, and the attach animation has this smoother cancel that saves frames when you're hopping between allies. Your W detach has better visibility too, which matters when you're trying to proc passive in a hectic dragon fight. Speaking of dragon fights, had this insane moment yesterday where the enemy Zed tried to ult my ADC at dragon pit, and the EDG shield visual was so clear I could time my E heal perfectly without second guessing if my W was still connected. That clarity probably saved us the game since we turned it into a 3 for 1 and got soul.

Is EDG Yuumi worth it compared to something like Heartseeker? For support mains who play her regularly, absolutely. The skin isn't pay-to-win but the visual clarity on abilities gives you that slight edge in teamfights where everything gets chaotic. Battle Principal might have cuter voice lines but EDG just performs better when you need to track cooldowns and positioning. My experience with EDG Yuumi has been nothing but positive, though the 1350 RP price point might seem steep if you're not playing her every other game. But if you're grinding ranked and Yuumi's in your champion pool, this skin makes those long sessions way less tilting.
