EDG Viego

Picked up EDG Viego from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I already main him with Lunar Beast. After about 50 games though, this skin completely changed how I approach teamfights.

The Q feels way more responsive than base or even Pentakill, especially when you're trying to weave autos between abilities. But the real game changer is how clean the W animation looks when you're charging it up. Last night during a dragon fight, I managed to land a max range W stun on their fed ADC purely because the visual clarity made it easier to judge the distance. The ult probably has the biggest difference though. Where Lunar Beast has that flashy teleport effect that sometimes makes me lose track of where I'm landing, EDG keeps it simple with cleaner animation frames that let you track your position better.

Compared to other Viego skins, this one sits in a weird spot. It doesn't have the intimidation factor of Pentakill or the flashy effects of Lunar Beast, but the competitive advantage is real. The possession transformations feel smoother, and when you're trying to pop off in a 2v3, those milliseconds matter. Is EDG Viego worth it at 1350 RP? If you're serious about climbing with him, absolutely. The technical improvements alone make it feel less clunky than his other options.

My experience with EDG Viego convinced me it's slightly pay-to-win, not just cosmetic. The visual clarity on abilities gives you an edge that base skin players don't have. For anyone who plays Viego regularly, this is the skin you want when you need to carry.
