Durian Defender Rammus

Rammus roams the land in a pungent peel, and though he may look adorable, he gives new meaning to the phrase “silent but deadly.” Some say the effluvial enigma's armor reeks of sewage and sweaty socks, but strong-willed warriors know how sweet he can really be—if you can get past the smell.

Picked this up from a mystery chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually run Chrome or Molten Rammus. After about 50 games though, this skin's grown on me way more than I thought it would.

The Q animation feels smoother than base skin, especially when you're trying to cancel it early for those quick engages. Your W spikes look cleaner too, making it easier to track when your defensive buff is actually up during teamfights. But the real difference is the ult. The ground effect is probably the clearest out of all his skins, with those distinct green circles that make it super obvious where your damage zone ends. Had a dragon fight yesterday where the enemy Kai'Sa tried to kite around the edge and completely misjudged the range because she's used to base Rammus visuals. Free kill right there.

Compared to other Rammus skins like Full Metal, this one's purely cosmetic but the clarity is insane. The durian theme is actually pretty funny once you get used to it, and the recall animation where he cracks open is worth it alone. At 1350 RP it's a bit steep for what you get, no new voice lines or anything special, but the visual clarity on abilities makes it feel better to play. Chrome Rammus still has that intimidating factor but Durian Defender just plays cleaner.

Is Durian Defender Rammus worth it? If you're a Rammus main who wants better visual feedback on your abilities, absolutely. And if you already own Chrome or Molten and want something different, this fills that gap nicely. Just don't expect any pay to win advantages beyond the clearer ult visuals.
