Dryad Soraka

Been playing Soraka since season 6 and after 500k mastery points across all my accounts, I finally grabbed Dryad when it popped up in My Shop. This skin completely changes how her abilities feel compared to other Soraka skins, especially if you're used to Star Guardian or base.

The Q feels way smoother to land with the nature particles making the hitbox clearer than most of her other skins. W has this satisfying leaf burst effect that makes healing your fed ADC feel more impactful, though it's purely cosmetic. But the real difference is her E silence zone. The root vines growing from the ground make it so much easier to track in teamfights compared to something like Celestine where the purple circle gets lost in all the chaos. During a baron fight yesterday, I landed a perfect E on their Katarina mid ult because I could actually see where my zone ended through all the spell effects. That's probably saved me more games than I'd like to admit.

Compared to Program Soraka which I mained forever, Dryad feels less clunky overall. The auto attack animation is cleaner for poking in lane, and her recall with the tree growing around her is actually one of the better ones she has. Is Dryad Soraka worth it though? For 520 RP it's honestly a steal if you play her regularly. Not quite pay to win like some claim, but the visual clarity on E alone makes it worth considering.

My experience with Dryad Soraka convinced me to use it in ranked over my other eight skins. If you're a support main who plays her more than occasionally, grab it next time it's available. The competitive edge from clearer visuals makes the difference when every teamfight matters.
