Dragonwing Corki

Corki's pit crew made sure to outfit him with a special ship for Lunar Revel, emblazoned with the visage of a dragon to scare off evil spirits. It has been further modified to spray bullets and fire explosives… presumably also to scare off evil spirits.

Dragonwing Corki
Dragonwing Corki

Dragonwing Corki was my unexpected main account upgrade after getting it from a Hextech chest last month, and after 55 games I'm genuinely surprised how much cleaner the animations feel compared to base skin. The dragon theme completely transforms the yordle pilot aesthetic into something that actually feels powerful when you're popping off in teamfights.

The Package delivery feels way more responsive than standard Corki, with the dragon wings giving better visual clarity on when you can actually reactivate for the knockback. My Valkyrie looks insane with the fire trail, and I swear the hitbox indicator is clearer for both me and enemies during laning phase. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to cut off three enemies trying to escape through river because the ult missiles have this distinct dragon fireball effect that's easier to track in chaotic situations. Compared to UFO Corki which I used for probably 200 games before this, Dragonwing just has better visibility overall when things get messy.

This skin is purely cosmetic but worth the 975 RP if you're a Corki player who values clarity. The recall animation where he feeds his dragon mount is actually one of the better ones in the game, and the sound effects don't get annoying after extended play sessions. But the real selling point compared to other Corki skins is how smooth the auto attack animation feels for CSing, especially under tower.

Is Dragonwing Corki worth it? For anyone who plays him regularly, absolutely. The visual improvements alone make it easier to track your abilities in teamfights, and that tiny advantage can be the diff between feeding and carrying.
