Dragonslayer Xin Zhao

Been spamming Dragonslayer Xin Zhao for about 50 games now after getting it from a chest, and honestly this skin hits different compared to other Xin Zhao skins. The spear feels heavier somehow, especially when you're landing those Three Talon Strikes. Where Warring Kingdoms feels floaty and base skin is whatever, Dragonslayer has this weight that makes CSing feel more satisfying. The Q animation has cleaner frames that actually help with timing your auto resets better, which probably saved me from inting a few times already.

The real difference shows during teamfights around dragon pit. Last night we were contesting third drake and I dove their fed ADC under tower. The ult animation is so clear that I could perfectly time the knockback to deny their Leona engage while my team collapsed. And the E dash looks sick with that flame trail but more importantly, enemies seem to react slower to it. Maybe it's the darker color scheme blending better with river terrain, but I've landed way more surprise engages than with Secret Agent which telegraphs everything with that bright suit.

Is Dragonslayer Xin Zhao worth it though? For 1350 RP it's not exactly budget friendly, but my experience with Dragonslayer Xin Zhao shows it's more than just cosmetic. The W thrust feels more responsive and the hitbox visualization matches what actually connects, unlike Cosmic Defender where I still whiff half my pokes. It's not completely pay to win since good Xin players will pop off regardless, but those small animation improvements add up. If you're a Xin main looking to climb, this skin gives you that tiny edge that matters when every game is a jungle diff situation.
