Picked up Dragonslayer Trundle from a chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually run Traditional or Worldbreaker. After about 50 games though, this skin completely changed how I approach teamfights.
The Q bite feels way more responsive than base skin, especially when you're trying to weave autos between abilities. His W frozen domain actually makes sense visually now with the dragon theme instead of that weird ice puddle, and I can track its edges better during messy fights. But the real game changer is his E pillar. The dragon claw that erupts feels cleaner animation wise and I swear I'm landing more max range pillars to cut off escapes. Just yesterday I caught a fed Ezreal trying to E away from dragon pit because the pillar hitbox visibility is so much better than Traditional where sometimes I'd miss by pixels.
Compared to other Trundle skins like Worldbreaker which I mained for 200+ games, Dragonslayer just plays smoother. The ult animation doesn't feel as clunky when you need to flash ult their carry, and the dragon roar actually helps teammates realize you're stealing stats. It's probably not pay to win but the visual clarity definitely helps in those chaotic 5v5s where every frame counts. And the recall where he sits on his throne? Actually insane compared to him just chomping on base skin.
Is Dragonslayer Trundle worth it if you're a Trundle main? Absolutely. The 1350 RP feels justified when you compare it to his older skins that haven't aged well. If you only play him occasionally maybe wait for Your Shop, but for anyone who wants their troll king to actually feel powerful, this is the one.
