After maining Diana for three seasons with around 400k mastery points, I finally grabbed Dragonslayer during the last sale and it's become my go-to skin over Dark Waters and Blood Moon. The dragon theme completely transforms her from lunar assassin into this fierce warrior vibe that just feels more aggressive in lane.
The Q animation feels way smoother than base skin, making those curved skillshots easier to land when you're trying to poke through minions. Her W shield gets this sick dragon scale effect that's actually clearer to see in teamfights compared to other Diana skins where I sometimes lose track of when it expires. But the real game changer is the ult animation being less clunky than default. Yesterday I was defending dragon pit against a fed Jinx and her support, and the pull felt more responsive when I flashed into them for the wombo combo. Got the double kill and secured soul because the animation didn't feel delayed like it sometimes does on base skin.
Blood Moon Diana still has the best recall in my opinion, but Dragonslayer Diana wins for actual gameplay feel. The E dash has this subtle dragon roar that gives better audio feedback for timing your combo, and the passive procs are easier to track with the orange glow instead of the usual moonlight effect. It's purely cosmetic but I swear I've been hitting more Qs since switching, probably because the projectile is just clearer to follow. At 1350 RP it's not cheap, but if you're serious about climbing with Diana this season, the visual clarity alone makes it worth grabbing over her other skins.
