After 55 games with Dragonslayer Braum, I'm convinced this skin changes how you play the champion fundamentally. The shield feels more responsive when blocking skillshots, and something about the dragon scale animations makes timing your E against burst combos way easier than base skin or even El Tigre Braum.
The Q projectile is probably the biggest improvement though. That molten rock travels with such clear visibility that landing max range Qs in teamfights became second nature. Your W leap looks absolutely insane with the fire trail, making tower dives feel more intimidating for enemies who see you coming. But what really sold me was using the ult during a baron fight last week. The erupting lava fissure is so much clearer than standard Braum's ice that my team instantly recognized the knockup zones and we aced them off pure positioning. Compared to other Braum skins like Santa or Mafia, this one's visual clarity is unmatched.
Is Dragonslayer Braum worth it? For 975 RP, you're getting legitimate gameplay advantages disguised as cosmetic upgrades. The smoother animation cancels between auto attacks and abilities let you proc passive stacks faster in lane trades. My experience with Dragonslayer Braum convinced me it's borderline pay to win, especially if you're trying to climb with support. The recall animation where you ride the dragon poro is just bonus points at this point.
If you main Braum or even play him occasionally, this skin will make you pop off harder. Should you buy Dragonslayer Braum over his other options? Unless you're attached to mustache physics, this is the one that'll actually help you diff enemy bot lanes.
