Dragonblade Talon

Legend says that Talon's blades were forged in the fire of a shadow dragon, and that he turned against his corrupt masters, cutting through them one by one before vanishing into the night. Many believe he will appear again whenever the strong take advantage of the weak.

After 55 games with Dragonblade Talon, I'm convinced this skin changes how you play him entirely. The visual clarity on his W is probably the biggest upgrade over base, making those crucial blade returns way easier to track in messy teamfights. And the ult feels insane with those dragon effects wrapping around you instead of the standard blades.

The Q animation feels cleaner than most other Talon skins, especially compared to Blood Moon where the dash sometimes feels sluggish. Your passive stacks show up better too with those golden marks that really pop against darker backgrounds. I remember this one dragon fight where my team was getting destroyed, but I could actually see my W return path through all the chaos and landed a perfect three-man combo for the steal. That visibility diff literally won us the game. The E wall jump has this subtle dragon claw effect that's easier to track than base, which helps when you're trying to escape through jungle walls while tilted from a bad lane.

Is Dragonblade Talon worth it? For 975 RP it's not exactly budget friendly, but compared to other Talon skins this one delivers actual gameplay benefits beyond just looking cool. The smoother animation cancels alone make combos feel more responsive, and that matters when you're trying to delete the fed ADC before they can flash. My experience with Dragonblade Talon convinced me it's slightly pay-to-win just from the visual clarity improvements. If you're serious about climbing with Talon or already main him, this skin will make those mechanical plays feel way more consistent. But if you just play him occasionally, maybe wait for a sale since the price is a bit steep for cosmetic value alone.
