Been maining Tryndamere for three seasons now with around 500k mastery points, and I've collected every skin except the limited ones. Demonblade Tryndamere sits in a weird spot compared to other Tryndamere skins because it's trying so hard to be edgy that it actually works.

The Q animation feels way smoother than base skin, especially when you're trying to heal during a tower dive. I remember this one game where I was getting ganked level 2 and the heal animation was clean enough that I could perfectly time it between tower shots without any clunky delay. His E spin actually has clearer hitbox visibility too, which helps when you're trying to clip someone at max range. But the real winner is his ult. The demonic transformation is sick, and unlike Highland or King where you barely notice you're ulting, Demonblade makes it super obvious to both you and enemies when you pop off with those 5 seconds of undying rage.

Comparing it to Sultan or Blood Moon, Demonblade probably has the best animations overall. Sultan's got that smooth auto attack feel, but Demonblade's W slow has this dark energy effect that makes it easier to see if you actually hit the slow in messy teamfights. The skin aged surprisingly well for being from 2011, though the model looks a bit dated next to newer releases.

Is Demonblade Tryndamere worth it? For 1820 RP it's definitely steep, but if you're a Trynd main who wants better visual clarity on abilities, it's one of his best options. Not quite pay to win, but those cleaner animations might save you from inting once or twice. I'd grab it on sale if you play him regularly.
