Debonair Master Yi

Picked up Debonair Master Yi from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually run PROJECT or Cosmic Blade. After about 35 games though, this skin's grown on me way more than I thought it would.

The Q feels incredibly smooth compared to base skin, and there's something about the way he flicks his blade during the Alpha Strike that just looks cleaner. His W meditation has this subtle rose petal effect that's actually easier to track than other skins when you're trying to bait out abilities. But the real difference is his ult. The purple trail and rose effects make it super obvious when you're popping off with Highlander active, which can be good or bad depending on whether enemies are paying attention. Had a dragon fight yesterday where their Lux completely whiffed her binding because she was tracking the old yellow trail position from muscle memory. That alone probably won me the teamfight since I could melt their ADC without getting CC'd.

Compared to PROJECT Yi which I mained forever, Debonair actually has better visual clarity during resets. The animation cancel on his autos feels more responsive too, especially when you're trying to weave in that double strike proc between Qs. It's definitely not pay to win or anything, but there's a slight advantage in how clean everything looks during chaotic fights. The recall animation where he adjusts his tie is pretty cringe but good for BM after getting fed in lane.

Is Debonair Master Yi worth it compared to other Master Yi skins? If you already have PROJECT or Eternal Sword, probably not essential. But if you're looking for something different that still plays smooth, it's a solid pickup when it rotates into Your Shop.
