Death Blossom Elise

Been maining Elise since season 8 with over 500k mastery points, and Death Blossom might be the most underrated skin in her collection. After around 120 games with it, I can honestly say it's grown on me way more than expected, especially compared to other Elise skins I rotate through.

The cocoon feels incredibly smooth on Death Blossom, with a cleaner animation that makes landing those max range picks feel more consistent. Her spider form W has this satisfying plant growth effect that actually helps me track the explosion radius better than base or even Blood Moon. But what really sold me was using it during a baron fight last week where my team was behind. The darker green tones on her spiderlings blend perfectly with river bushes, and I managed to flank their fed ADC without being spotted until my cocoon was already flying. That pick turned the whole game around and we ended up winning after being down 8k gold.

Compared to Super Galaxy which I used exclusively before, Death Blossom feels less clunky during rappel cancels. The nature theme probably won't appeal to everyone, but the skin is purely cosmetic with no actual advantage beyond that visual clarity on W. At 975 RP it's not breaking the bank either, though I'd wait for Your Shop if you're patient.

Is Death Blossom Elise worth it? For Elise mains who want something different from the typical tech or edgy themes, absolutely. The skin has aged well since release and offers enough visual improvements to justify the purchase. Just don't expect it to fix your missed cocoons or stop you from inting tower dives.
