Deadly Kennen

Been maining Kennen since season 8 and finally grabbed Deadly Kennen from a mystery gift last week. After about 40 games with it, I'm honestly surprised how clean this skin feels compared to what I expected from an older release. The auto attacks feel way smoother than base skin, especially when you're trying to CS under tower or poke in lane. Where Blood Moon Kennen sometimes feels clunky with the W proc timing, Deadly Kennen's animations are crisp enough that I can actually tell when my empowered auto is ready without staring at the buff bar.

The Q shuriken has better visibility than most Kennen skins I've tried, which matters more than you'd think. Had a dragon fight yesterday where the enemy Caitlyn tried to flash my Q but mistimed it because the projectile is so clear. And the ult feels more responsive somehow, like the lightning strikes connect faster even though I know it's probably just visual. The E animation is where this skin really shines though. You can cancel it into flash way cleaner than on base or even Super Kennen, which has saved me from getting caught out multiple times already.

Is Deadly Kennen worth it compared to other Kennen skins? For 520 RP it's actually insane value. Not quite pay to win but the cleaner animations definitely help with combos. My experience with Deadly Kennen has been way better than expected, especially since I usually run Blood Moon or Infernal. If you're a Kennen main looking for something that won't tilt you with weird animation delays, this is probably your best budget option. Just don't expect flashy effects or anything special on the recall.
