Dark Waters Vladimir

In his younger days, Vladimir practiced at a school of medicine known for magically manipulating the humors of a patient's body. Turns out in Bilgewater there's more coin to be made killing than saving, and now he's found himself in a much more lucrative—if not messier—line of work.

Been spamming Dark Waters Vladimir for about 80 games now after grabbing it from a chest, and honestly this skin completely changed how I feel about playing Vlad. The water effects make his abilities feel way smoother than base skin, especially his E which pools up like actual water instead of that weird blood blob.

The Q feels insane when you're fed and constantly draining enemies with those aquatic sound effects. But what really sold me was a dragon fight where I could actually see my ult spreading through the enemy team better than ever before. The teal color stands out so much clearer in teamfights compared to Bloodlord's dark red that gets lost in all the chaos. His W pool animation has this cleaner transition that makes it easier to time your untargetability frames, which probably saved me from getting caught out at least a dozen times already. And the recall where he dissolves into water is just pure eye candy that never gets old.

Compared to other Vladimir skins like Soulstealer or Cosmic, Dark Waters actually gives you a slight clarity advantage. The abilities are more responsive and the hitboxes feel more accurate to what you're seeing on screen. Worth the 1350 RP if you're a Vlad main, though it's definitely more than just cosmetic. The skin makes CSing feel better too with those smooth auto attacks.

Is Dark Waters Vladimir worth it? If you play him regularly, absolutely. My experience with Dark Waters Vladimir has been nothing but positive, and I'd even recommend it over the more expensive legendary options. Maybe wait for a sale if you're not sure, but this one's staying in my rotation permanently.
