Dark Waters Diana

Diana was once an extremist within the Order of the Mother Serpent, but now spends her days murdering her employer's enemies by the light of the moon. In Bilgewater it's less about who you were, and more about the message you send.

After 50 games spamming Dark Waters Diana in ranked, I'm convinced this skin actually gives you a slight edge beyond just looking sick. The Q feels way smoother to land compared to base Diana or even Blood Moon, and I swear the hitbox visualization is cleaner when you're trying to thread it through minions for those sneaky pokes in lane.

The biggest difference is how the E shield looks underwater themed with those bubble effects that make it super obvious when it's active, which sounds bad but actually helps me time trades better. Her ult has this whirlpool animation that's probably the cleanest of all her skins, making it easier to judge the exact pull range during those messy dragon fights. Just last night I managed to pull off a 4-man ult at baron pit because I could perfectly see where my vacuum would reach, something that always felt iffy on Infernal Diana where the fire effects blend into everything.

Is Dark Waters Diana worth it compared to other Diana skins? For 1350 RP it's definitely not just a cosmetic upgrade. The W orbs have this distinct glow that makes counting your attacks before passive proc way easier, especially when you're fed and need to maximize burst combos. But the recall animation where she summons that water serpent thing is honestly cringe but good, takes forever though so careful backing in side lanes.

My experience with Dark Waters Diana convinced me it's the best skin for climbing if you main her. The visual clarity alone makes it worth over flashier options like Battle Queen. Should you buy Dark Waters Diana? If you're serious about Diana, absolutely grab it next time it's in shop.
