After dropping 975 RP on Dark Valkyrie Diana following a brutal losing streak where every enemy Diana seemed to diff me, I've been spamming this skin for about 40 games straight. The wings alone make this purchase worth it, but what really caught me off guard was how much cleaner the Q animation feels compared to base Diana. You can actually see the arc trajectory better with that purple glow, and I swear the hitbox visibility helps me land more consistent pokes in lane.

The passive proc is where this skin really shines though. That third auto attack has this satisfying purple explosion that's way more noticeable than her other skins, even Dragonslayer Diana which I mained before. During a baron fight yesterday, I could actually track my passive timing perfectly in the chaos, something that's always been cringe with base Diana where the effect just blends into everything. Her E pull feels more responsive too, probably because the shield visual doesn't clutter your screen as much. And the ult? Pure eye candy when you delete their backline, but mechanically it's just cosmetic.

Is Dark Valkyrie Diana worth it compared to other Diana skins? For 975 RP it's not breaking the bank, and after my experience with Dark Valkyrie Diana, I'd say it's solid value if you're planning to actually play her consistently. The visual clarity alone gives you a slight edge in teamfights, though I wouldn't call it pay-to-win or anything. If you're a Diana main looking for something that feels smooth without being too flashy, this beats most of her catalog. Just don't expect it to fix your mechanics if you're still learning her combos.
