Dark Star Kha’Zix

After 90+ games with Dark Star Kha'Zix since getting it from a chest last month, I'm genuinely shocked how much this skin changes the champion's feel. Most people write it off as just another cosmic reskin, but the evolution animations alone make this worth considering if you're serious about maining the bug.

The Q feels noticeably smoother compared to base skin, especially when you're trying to weave autos between isolated Qs during early invades. His evolved E actually has clearer hitbox visibility which saved me from inting into enemy towers more times than I'd like to admit. But the real difference is the ult. Those void portals when you stealth are insane for mindgames, and I swear enemies lose track of me more often than with Championship or Mecha skins. Just yesterday I was getting collapsed on at dragon, popped ult near the pit wall, and their Caitlyn completely whiffed her trap placement because the portal effect threw her off.

Compared to other Kha'Zix skins like Death Blossom which I used for 200 games before this, Dark Star actually feels less clunky when animation canceling. The W projectile is probably the clearest of any skin too, making those cross map snipes way more satisfying. Is Dark Star Kha'Zix worth it though? For 1350 RP it's not exactly pay to win, but the visual clarity on abilities definitely helps in teamfights. My experience with Dark Star Kha'Zix convinced me to refund Guardian of the Sands just to own this permanently.
