Cyber Cat Yuumi

Grabbed Cyber Cat Yuumi from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually run Heartseeker or base skin. After about 35 games though, this skin's grown on me way more than I thought it would, especially the tech aesthetic that actually fits her kit surprisingly well.

The Q projectile feels cleaner to track through minion waves compared to other Yuumi skins, and that neon trail makes it easier for your ADC to see where you're aiming during chaotic teamfights. Her W attach animation has this satisfying digital effect that somehow feels more responsive than Heartseeker's floaty hearts. But the real difference is her ult waves being these bright cyber pulses that are way easier to count mid-fight. Had a dragon fight yesterday where my Jinx could perfectly time her ult between my third and fourth wave because the visual clarity was just that good. The E heal particles don't clutter the screen either, which is something that always tilted me about Battle Principal.

Is Cyber Cat Yuumi worth it? For 1350 RP it's probably one of her better skins if you care about gameplay clarity over pure aesthetics. The recall animation where she types on the holographic keyboard is adorable, and the cyber tail swish on her passive shield proc is chef's kiss. It's not pay-to-win or anything, but those cleaner animations definitely help in ranked when every pixel matters. Compared to other Yuumi skins, it sits right between the simplicity of base and the flashiness of her legendaries.

If you're a Yuumi main who plays her regularly, this skin's worth considering. The visual improvements are subtle but add up over time, especially if you've been getting tilted by Battle Principal's particle overload.
