Crystalis Indomitus Xerath

Once a humble fisherman, Xerath returned from a voyage with a multitude of magical crystals in tow. Their power elevated him to become a leader of his people, ushering in what he hoped would be a new era of the Prismae Crystals' rule. But the cost of such power damaged his mind, leaving him suspicious that no thoughts are to be trusted… even his own.

Crystalis Indomitus Xerath

Just picked up Crystalis Indomitus Xerath from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Scorched Earth. After about 35 games though, this skin's actually insane for clarity in teamfights. The Q charge-up has this crystalline effect that makes it way easier to track when you're weaving between abilities, and I've noticed my accuracy went up probably 10% just from the cleaner animation alone.

The W feels completely different compared to other Xerath skins. Where base Xerath has that muddy purple explosion, this one pops with sharp crystal shards that make it super obvious where the center damage is hitting. Lost a dragon fight yesterday because enemy jungler thought he was outside the W sweet spot but the visual clarity on this skin showed him he was dead center and I got the execute. But the real game changer is the ult. Those crystal meteors are so much easier to track than his other skins, especially Dark Star where everything blends together. The projectiles feel more responsive too, like there's less delay between clicking and the shot landing.

Compared to Scorched Earth which I mained for 200+ games, Crystalis Indomitus Xerath is worth switching for ranked. It's not pay to win exactly, but the visual improvements definitely help you CS better and land more skillshots. My experience with Crystalis Indomitus Xerath convinced me that skin clarity actually matters on artillery mages. And considering it's exclusive when it shows up, I'd grab it if you're serious about climbing with Xerath. The difference in teamfights alone makes it worth, especially when everyone's abilities are going off and you need to track your own damage zones.
