Cryocore Brand

Picked up Cryocore Brand from a chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Zombie Brand exclusively. After about 55 games though, this skin completely changed how I play the champion.

The Q feels way smoother to land compared to base Brand or even my beloved Zombie skin. There's something about the ice particle that makes the hitbox clearer, especially when you're trying to snipe someone through minions. His W has this satisfying crunch sound when it lands that actually helps with timing your combos better. And the ult bounces are easier to track in teamfights since the frozen orb stands out more than the regular fireball. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to get a perfect 5-man bounce because I could actually see where my ult was going through all the chaos, something I probably would've missed on other skins.

Compared to other Brand skins like Arclight or Battle Boss, Cryocore sits in this weird spot where it's not flashy but somehow more functional. The auto attacks feel less clunky too, which helps when you're trying to CS early or weave autos between abilities. It's definitely not pay-to-win, but the visual clarity gives you a slight edge that's worth considering if you're serious about climbing with Brand.

Is Cryocore Brand worth it? For 975 RP, it's actually solid value if you main him. The skin has aged surprisingly well for something from 2011, and while newer skins have better effects, this one just works. If you're choosing between this and something like Spirit Fire Brand, I'd honestly go Cryocore for ranked games.
