Cowgirl Miss Fortune

No bounty hunter on the prairie is as skilled as Sarah Fortune, but she doesn't work for anything less than top dollar. Cause enough trouble on the high frontier and, sure enough, she'll come calling—with two gleaming pistols, and a bullet with your name on it.

Cowgirl Miss Fortune caught me off guard when I pulled it from a hextech chest last month. After around 55 games with it, I'm actually shocked how much I prefer it over skins I paid actual RP for. The western theme hits different when you're kiting through teamfights, and there's something satisfying about the way her guns feel compared to other Miss Fortune skins in my collection.

The Q bounce has this crisp sound that makes last hitting with it feel cleaner somehow. Her E drops with this dust cloud effect that's way easier to track in messy dragon fights than something like Arcade Miss Fortune where everything's bright and flashy. But the ult is where this skin really shines. The channeling animation feels less clunky than base, and I swear the visual makes it easier to position properly. Last night during a baron fight, I melted their backline because the ult visual lined up perfectly with the actual hitbox, unlike Pool Party where I sometimes whiff because the water effects throw me off.

Compared to other Miss Fortune skins like Star Guardian or Gun Goddess, Cowgirl keeps things simple but effective. It's not pay to win or anything, but the animations are definitely more responsive than older skins. The auto attack wind up feels smoother, which matters when you're trying to CS under pressure or weave autos between abilities. Is Cowgirl Miss Fortune worth it if you're buying? Probably not your first choice unless you love the theme, but if you get it randomly like I did, you might find yourself using it way more than expected. It's grown on me enough that I haven't touched my other MF skins since.
