After spamming around 80 games with Coven Zyra this month, I'm honestly shocked more people aren't talking about how this skin completely changes her feel. The dark purple aesthetic isn't just eye candy, it actually makes landing combos way smoother than base or even Dragon Sorceress.

The E root feels more responsive, probably because the vine animation doesn't have that weird startup delay base Zyra has. Her plants look absolutely insane with the thorny dark magic vibe, and they're easier to track in teamfights compared to other skins. But what really sells it is the ult. That massive circle of corruption is so clear that enemies actually respect it more, I've noticed people flash out way earlier than they would against Haunted Zyra. During a baron fight yesterday, the enemy Jinx literally walked around the entire pit just to avoid my ult zone because the visual is that intimidating. And the Q? The corruption bloom has this satisfying pop that makes CS'ing feel crisp, though it took me maybe 10 games to adjust the timing.

Compared to other Zyra skins, this one sits perfectly between flashy and functional. Dragon Sorceress might have cooler dragon plants, but Coven's clarity is unmatched. Is Coven Zyra worth it at 1350 RP? If you're a support main who plays her regularly, absolutely. It's not pay to win, but the cleaner animations definitely help you land more roots when it matters. My experience with Coven Zyra convinced me to refund Prestige just to keep this as my main skin. For anyone on the fence about should you buy Coven Zyra, wait for a sale if you're casual, but mains should grab it immediately.
