Coven Elise

Picked up Coven Elise from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Blood Moon, but after about 35 games I'm actually converted. The whole witch aesthetic hits different when you're stalking through river bushes, and there's something satisfying about the way her human form Q feels snappier than base skin.

The spider form W explosion has this purple mist effect that makes it way easier to track in teamfights compared to other Elise skins I've tried. Her cocoon animation feels cleaner too, especially when you're trying to thread it through minions for that crucial pick. Had this insane dragon fight yesterday where the enemy jungler couldn't track my rappel properly because the descending animation blends with the Coven particles, letting me smite steal and get out clean. But the real game changer is how visible her spiderlings are with the purple glow. Sounds weird but it actually helps me keep track of them for tower dives when I need to juggle aggro.

Compared to other Elise skins like Super Galaxy or Victorious, Coven sits in this sweet spot where it's flashy enough to feel special but not so over the top that you're inting because enemies can see you from across the map. It's definitely just cosmetic though, no actual advantage except maybe that rappel thing I mentioned. Worth the 1350 RP if you're an Elise main who wants something fresh without sacrificing clarity. The recall animation alone where she transforms mid air is probably the smoothest I've seen on any of her skins. If you're debating between this and Blood Moon, I'd say Coven edges it out slightly for the visual upgrades.
