Picked up Coven Ashe from a chest last month and wasn't expecting much since I usually rock High Noon, but after around 50 games I'm actually converted. The whole dark witch aesthetic hits different when you're kiting through teamfights, and there's something about the smoother animation on her Q that makes orb walking feel way cleaner than base skin.
The W feels insane with those purple butterflies spreading out instead of regular ice shards. I've noticed enemies react slower to it, probably because the visual is less obvious than the bright blue on her other skins. Her ult though is where this skin really shines. That massive dark owl is easier to track in messy fights compared to PROJECT's thin arrow. Last night during a dragon fight, I threaded it between their Braum shield and Yasuo windwall because I could actually see where the hitbox ended. The E hawkshot turning into a raven is purely cosmetic but adds to the vibe when you're checking baron pit.
Compared to other Ashe skins like Fae Dragon or Championship, Coven feels more responsive overall. The auto attack wind-up is slightly faster feeling, though that might just be the visual cue from her darker bow. Is Coven Ashe worth it if you're buying with RP? At 1350 RP it's not cheap, but for Ashe mains who want clarity in teamfights without sacrificing style, it's solid. Not quite pay-to-win but definitely gives you that slight edge in visual clarity. My experience with Coven Ashe convinced me to keep it in my rotation even though I got it free. If you main ADC and play her regularly, grab it next time it's in your shop.
