Coven Ahri

Coven Ahri completely changed how I approach teamfights after maining her for three seasons with over 500k mastery points. This skin isn't just another pretty face in my collection, it's become my go-to when I need to pop off in ranked.

The Q feels incredibly smooth compared to base Ahri, with the dark energy orb having clearer edges that make max range pokes way easier to land. Her charm animation has this subtle purple trail that's actually harder for enemies to track in messy fights, which I've noticed catches people off guard more often. The ult dashes have a ghostly afterimage that makes your movement less predictable, and I swear it's helped me juke skillshots better. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to weave through their entire backline because the visual clarity on my end was perfect while their Ezreal completely whiffed his ult trying to predict my third dash. Compared to Spirit Blossom Ahri which I used religiously before, Coven feels more responsive when animation canceling your E into flash.

Is Coven Ahri worth it? For anyone who plays her regularly, absolutely. The 1350 RP price is justified by the smoother animations alone, not to mention the gorgeous recall and sound effects. It's probably not pay-to-win, but the cleaner visuals definitely give you a slight edge in cluttered teamfights. My experience with Coven Ahri after 90 games has been nothing but positive, and I can't imagine going back to her other skins. If you're an Ahri main sitting on the fence about this one, just grab it. You won't regret having this skin in your arsenal when you need to carry.
