Cosmic Queen Ashe

Got Cosmic Queen Ashe from a chest last week and wasn't expecting much since I usually rock PROJECT or High Noon. After about 35 games though, this skin completely changed my mind about what makes a good Ashe skin.

The W feels incredibly smooth compared to other skins, especially when you're kiting backwards in teamfights. Where PROJECT sometimes feels clunky with its mechanical sounds, Cosmic Queen's volley has this fluid animation that makes it easier to weave between autos. Her ult is probably the biggest difference though. That cosmic arrow is so much clearer than base Ashe's blue projectile, and I've been hitting way more cross-map snipes because I can track it better through river walls. The passive stacks show up cleaner too, which helps when you're trying to maximize that slow during lane trades. Just yesterday I was getting dove under tower by their fed Irelia and the Q animation felt responsive enough that I could kite her around turret while my jungler collapsed. With PROJECT I would've probably cancelled an auto trying to orb walk that tight.

But here's what really sold me on Cosmic Queen Ashe compared to other Ashe skins. It's purely cosmetic, no pay-to-win advantage, but the visual clarity is insane. The recall animation where she floats up into space is one of the best in the game, and those galaxy particle effects on her cape don't clutter up teamfights like some of her other skins do. Worth the 1350 RP if you're buying, but getting it free made me appreciate how polished this skin actually is. Definitely keeping this as my main Ashe skin now, even over my other legendaries.
