After 70 games with Cosmic Paladin Nautilus, I'm convinced this skin completely changes how the champion feels in teamfights. The celestial armor aesthetic isn't just eye candy, it actually makes tracking your own position during chaotic moments way easier than base Nautilus or even Astronautilus.
The Q hook has this golden trail that's insanely clear for both you and enemies, which might seem like a disadvantage but I've found it helps teammates follow up better. Your W shield gets this cosmic glow that makes it obvious when it's about to pop, and the E slow field spreads with these star patterns that feel more responsive than the muddy base animations. But the real game changer is the ult, watching that cosmic wave chase down enemies never gets old and the impact feels heavier somehow. During a baron fight yesterday, I landed a five man ult that looked absolutely cringe but good with all the cosmic explosions going off, and my ADC said it was the clearest Naut ult they'd ever seen for dodging purposes.
Compared to other Nautilus skins like Worldbreaker, this one's worth the 1350 RP if you're planning to main him. The animations are cleaner without being distracting, and while it's definitely not pay to win, the visual clarity probably gives you a slight edge in ranked. My only complaint is the recall animation takes forever, but you'll be too busy roaming to care.
Is Cosmic Paladin Nautilus worth it? For support mains who want their hooks to feel impactful and their presence known, absolutely. Just don't expect it to fix your positioning if you're already inting in lane.
