Cosmic Matriarch Bel’Veth

After spamming 70 games with Cosmic Matriarch Bel'Veth this week, I gotta say this skin completely changes how the champion feels in teamfights. The cosmic theme actually makes her less intimidating than base, which threw me off at first, but the visual clarity is insane compared to other Bel'Veth skins.

The Q dashes have this smooth cosmic trail that's way easier to track than Battle Boss's pixelated effects, and I think the animation cancels feel faster somehow. Her E swarm looks like a galaxy expanding which is sick, but more importantly it's clearer where the damage zone ends. During a baron fight yesterday, enemy team couldn't tell if my ult form was active because the cosmic wings blend with the purple effects everywhere, and we aced them when they underestimated my damage. The W knockup has this subtle starfield effect that's actually harder to see coming than her base skin, which probably gives you a tiny advantage in lane trades.

Battle Boss Bel'Veth still has the best sound effects, but Cosmic Matriarch wins on pure gameplay feel. The ult transformation is smoother, your true form looks absolutely fed even when you're 0/5, and the recall animation where she opens portals to different dimensions is worth the 1350 RP alone. Not quite pay to win, but the cleaner animations definitely help with kiting and positioning.

My experience with Cosmic Matriarch Bel'Veth convinced me it's her best skin for climbing. If you're a Bel'Veth main who values smooth gameplay over flashy effects, this is worth grabbing next time it's in your shop.
