Cosmic Defender Xin Zhao

After 90 games with Cosmic Defender Xin Zhao, I'm convinced this skin completely changes how the champion feels in teamfights. Most people grab it for the space theme, but there's something about the W animation that makes timing your defensive plays way easier compared to other Xin Zhao skins.

The biggest difference is how his Three Talon Strike feels smoother between auto attacks. Where base Xin Zhao has that slightly choppy Q animation, Cosmic Defender flows perfectly when you're trying to CS under tower or finish off a low health enemy. His ult probably looks the coolest with that cosmic explosion, but functionally it's the E that caught me off guard. The targeting feels more responsive somehow, and I've landed way more max range dashes than I ever did with Dragonslayer. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to E through their frontline to reach their fed ADC purely because the projectile visibility made it easier to judge the range.

Compared to Dragonslayer Xin Zhao, which used to be my go to, Cosmic Defender wins on clarity alone. The spear glows bright enough that even in messy 5v5s you can track your position better. And the recall animation where he floats up into space never gets old. Is Cosmic Defender Xin Zhao worth it though? For 1350 RP, you're getting more than just cosmetics. The cleaner animations genuinely help with combos, especially when you need to weave autos between abilities.

My experience with Cosmic Defender Xin Zhao convinced me it's worth the price for anyone who plays him regularly. It's not exactly pay to win, but those small animation improvements add up over time. Should you buy Cosmic Defender Xin Zhao? If you're planning to main him or already spam him in ranked, absolutely grab it.
