Chosen of the Wolf Swain

Picked this up after watching a Korean challenger absolutely dominate with it on stream, and after 70 games I can finally give you my honest take on Chosen of the Wolf Swain. The skin completely changes how the champion feels to play, especially if you're coming from base or Northern Front like I was.

The W feels way more responsive compared to other Swain skins, with cleaner animation that makes it easier to time with your passive pulls. Your E projectile is probably the biggest upgrade though, the wolf spirit effect makes it super clear when it's gonna hit or miss, which matters a ton when you're trying to land those max range catches. During a baron fight yesterday, I landed three consecutive E roots through the pit wall that I swear I would've whiffed on base skin. The ult transformation into the wolf form is insane, but more importantly, the drain visual is less cluttered so you can actually tell who you're healing from in messy teamfights.

Compared to Dragon Master, which used to be my go-to, this one just feels better for actually playing the game. Dragon Master has cooler voice lines but Chosen of the Wolf gives you that slight clarity advantage that matters when you're trying to pop off. The 1350 RP price is worth it if you're planning to main Swain or already have decent games on him.

Is Chosen of the Wolf Swain worth it? If you're serious about climbing with the champion, absolutely. It's not quite pay-to-win but it's close enough that I'd recommend it over any other skin in his collection right now.
