Chosen of the Wolf Kindred

Picked this up from a chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Spirit Blossom. After about 35 games though, Chosen of the Wolf Kindred completely changed my mind about what a 1350 RP skin can deliver.

The Q feels way more responsive compared to base Kindred, especially when you're kiting camps or chasing down that fed ADC who thinks they're safe. Wolf's W zone has this darker visual that actually makes it easier to track in teamfights, and I can't tell you how many times that's saved me from inting into the enemy team. But the real game changer is the ult animation being cleaner. During a Baron fight yesterday, I dropped it perfectly between their frontline and backline because I could actually see the exact edge clearly, something that always felt muddy on Shadowfire. The auto attacks have this satisfying bite to them that makes CS feel smoother too, though maybe that's just me being weird about sound effects.

Compared to other Kindred skins, this one sits right between Spirit Blossom's flashiness and base skin's clarity. It's not pay to win or anything, but the visual improvements definitely help in cluttered fights. The recall animation is probably the weakest part, nothing special there. And while Spirit Blossom has better voice lines, Chosen of the Wolf wins on pure gameplay feel.

Is Chosen of the Wolf Kindred worth it? If you're a Kindred main who values clean visuals over fancy effects, absolutely grab it. The price feels right for what you get, and after my experience with Chosen of the Wolf Kindred, I'm not switching back anytime soon. Just don't expect it to fix your marks management, that's still on you.
