Challenger Nidalee

Picked this up from a mystery chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I'm more of a Warring Kingdoms guy. After about 40 games though, Challenger Nidalee has completely changed my mind about what makes a good competitive skin. The armor design actually helps me track my positioning better in teamfights, something I never thought I'd care about until I started climbing again.

The spear toss feels way more responsive than base skin, and I swear the animation cancel on her cougar W is cleaner. Had this insane dragon fight yesterday where I could actually see my spears through all the ability spam because of the blue trail effect. Managed to steal it with a max range Q that I probably would've whiffed on French Maid Nidalee where the spear just disappears into visual noise. Her human form autos feel snappier too, making those early CS way easier to secure when you're getting pressured.

Compared to other Nidalee skins like Headhunter, this one's purely cosmetic but somehow still gives me an edge. The cougar form E swipe has this distinct sound that helps me time my combos better, and the transformation itself feels less clunky. Sure, it's not as flashy as some of her newer skins, but for 975 RP you're getting solid clarity improvements that actually matter when you're trying to pop off in ranked.

Is Challenger Nidalee worth it? If you're serious about maining her, absolutely. The visual clarity alone makes it worth over something like Bewitching where everything blends together. My experience with Challenger Nidalee convinced me that sometimes the older, simpler skins are exactly what you need to diff your opponents.
