Cafe Cuties Soraka

Picked up Cafe Cuties Soraka from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually run Star Guardian. After about 35 games though, this skin's grown on me in ways I didn't see coming. The Q feels way more responsive than base skin, especially when you're trying to land those max range pokes in lane. And the W animation is actually cleaner for tracking who you've healed in messy teamfights, which matters when everyone's stacked for dragon.

Speaking of dragon fights, had this insane moment yesterday where we were contesting third drake. Enemy Zed went for our ADC and I barely got the ult off in time, but what really saved us was how clear the E root animation is on this skin. You can actually tell when it's gonna pop compared to Dawnbringer where it kinda blends into the ground effects. The whole fight turned because their fed Samira walked into it trying to follow up. My experience with Cafe Cuties Soraka has been surprisingly positive for what I thought would be just another cute skin.

Is Cafe Cuties Soraka worth it compared to other Soraka skins? If you're looking for clarity it's definitely up there with Nightbringer, though Star Guardian still has the best ult visibility in my opinion. The recall animation where she's making coffee is pretty cringe but good, and the homeguard run is adorable. It's purely cosmetic, no pay to win advantages, but those cleaner animations do make a difference when you're trying to clutch save your inting toplaner. Probably wouldn't pay 1350 RP for it myself, but since I got it free I'm keeping it in rotation.
