Broken Covenant Rakan

Rakan's mouth always got him into trouble, and after getting caught stealing from Vladimir and nearly killed, he awoke to find himself a newly turned Neverghaast, thanks to his beloved Xayah. In the time they've been separated while she repays his debt, Rakan can feel his thirsts grow and dreads showing his partner the monster he fears he's becoming.

Never thought I'd drop 1350 RP on another Rakan skin after maining Star Guardian for two years, but Broken Covenant completely changed my mind after seeing a Korean challenger support absolutely pop off with it on stream. The visual clarity difference is actually insane, especially when you're trying to land those crucial engages in messy teamfights.

The W feels way more responsive compared to other Rakan skins, probably because the dark wings telegraph better against Summoner's Rift backgrounds. Your Q projectile has this purple trail that's easier to track for both you and your ADC, which matters when you're trying to hit that clutch heal during a tower dive. But what really sold me is the ult animation having cleaner visual indicators. I used to miss so many charm opportunities with base skin because enemies would flash out before I realized my range, but Broken Covenant's dark aura makes it super obvious when someone's in range. Just yesterday I caught their fed Katarina trying to flank us at dragon because I could instantly see she stepped into my ult radius, something I might've missed with Elderwood's leafy effects cluttering the screen.

Is Broken Covenant Rakan worth it compared to other Rakan skins? After around 70 games, I'm convinced it's not quite pay-to-win but definitely gives you an edge. The animations feel less clunky than IG Rakan and way clearer than SSG's white effects that blend into river. My experience with Broken Covenant Rakan has been nothing but positive, and while the price is a bit steep, it's become my go-to for ranked. If you're serious about climbing as a Rakan main, grab it next time it's in your shop.
