Blood Moon Yasuo

Ceremonial executioner of the Blood Moon cult, Yasuo's blade is inhabited by an insidious, bloodthirsty demon whose hunger for death can never be satisfied. This suits Yasuo well, for he is possessed of an inner darkness even deeper than the creature whispering at his side.

Blood Moon Yasuo completely changes how his Q feels in teamfights, and after 120 games with this skin, I can confidently say it's become my go to pick over High Noon. The tornado animation is way cleaner than base, making it easier to track in chaotic dragon fights where every pixel matters. And the red particle effects on his E dashes actually help me count my stacks better than any other skin I own.

The ult is where Blood Moon Yasuo really shines though. Last week I was getting absolutely destroyed in lane by a Zed, down 30 CS and ready to ff. But something about the smoother cancel on this skin's ultimate animation helped me turn a 2v1 gank around. The suspension feels more responsive, probably because the visual cues sync better with the actual hitbox timing. My Steel Tempest charges are easier to track too, with that distinct blood effect making it obvious when I'm ready to knock someone up.

Compared to other Yasuo skins like Nightbringer or True Damage, Blood Moon sits in this sweet spot where it's flashy enough to feel special but not so over the top that it hurts clarity. The 975 RP price point makes it accessible for most players, and honestly it's worth every penny. Sure, it's not technically pay to win since the hitboxes are identical, but the visual clarity improvements definitely help in clutch moments.

Is Blood Moon Yasuo worth it? If you're serious about maining this champion, absolutely grab it. The skin aged incredibly well since release and still feels premium compared to newer options. Just don't blame me when you start landing more tornados and your friends call you cringe for the sudden improvement.
