Blood Moon Master Yi

Been spamming Blood Moon Master Yi for about 80 games now after getting it from a chest, and honestly this skin hits different than I expected. The whole demonic samurai vibe actually translates into cleaner animations that make last hitting feel more responsive compared to base Yi. When you activate Highlander, the red trail effects are way more visible than PROJECT or even Cosmic Blade, which I thought would be the clarity king.

The Alpha Strike feels insane on this skin. There's something about the blood splash effect that makes timing your Q dodges easier, probably because the visual cue is sharper when you're untargetable. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to dodge three ults in a row and my team was convinced I was scripting. But compared to other Master Yi skins, Blood Moon just telegraphs your abilities better without being obnoxious about it. The Wuju Style activation has this subtle red glow that doesn't clutter your screen like some of his flashier skins do.

Is Blood Moon Master Yi worth it though? For 1350 RP it's definitely not pay to win, but the smoother cancel on your auto attacks after Meditate makes those clutch tower dives feel less clunky. I've owned Eternal Sword and Headhunter before this, and Blood Moon sits right between them in terms of both aesthetics and functionality. The recall animation alone makes you feel like an anime villain about to pop off.

If you're a Yi main looking for something that combines solid visuals with actual gameplay clarity, this skin delivers. Just don't expect it to fix your tendency to int when you get fed and think you're invincible.
