Bittersweet Lulu

After grabbing Bittersweet Lulu from a chest last month, I've been spamming her for around 55 games now and honestly didn't expect to like this skin as much as I do. The candy theme seemed kinda cringe at first but the execution is actually insane, especially when you compare it to something like Dragon Trainer which feels dated now.

The Q feels way smoother to land than base skin, probably because the lollipop projectile is easier to track in teamfights. Her W polymorph turns enemies into cupcakes which is hilarious when the enemy Yasuo starts inting after getting morphed three times in a row. But the real difference is her E shield animation which has cleaner visual clarity than most of her other skins. During a baron fight yesterday, I could actually tell who had my shield on them without squinting at the screen, which helped me save our fed ADC with a clutch ult when Zed tried to dive. The ultimate itself has this satisfying candy explosion effect that makes enemies tilt harder when they get knocked up.

Is Bittersweet Lulu worth it compared to other Lulu skins? If you're looking for something that's both fun and functional, absolutely. The skin isn't pay to win or anything, but those cleaner animations do make a small diff in how responsive everything feels. My experience with Bittersweet Lulu has been way better than expected for a 975 RP skin. And considering how much visual personality it adds without sacrificing gameplay clarity, I'd say it's worth picking up if you play Lulu regularly. Just don't blame me when enemies ff after getting turned into desserts one too many times.
