Birdio

Finally grabbed Birdio from a chest after maining this champ for ages, and honestly it's way better than I expected for a 975 RP skin. Been running it for about 50 games now and the difference from base Galio is actually insane. The Q feels so much smoother to land compared to other Galio skins, especially Gatekeeper which always felt a bit clunky to me. Your W charge-up has this satisfying cooking timer sound that makes timing the release feel more responsive, and the ult drop with the giant egg is probably the cleanest animation he has.

Best moment was during a dragon fight where their Yasuo tried to windwall my Q thinking it was a normal projectile, but the sunny-side-up eggs just plopped right through and chunked him for half his health. The E dash feels faster too, maybe it's just the chicken run animation but I swear you can cancel it into W taunts quicker than usual. And that recall where he's flipping eggs and serving plates is worth the price alone.

Is Birdio worth it compared to other Galio skins? If you're looking for clarity it's purely cosmetic, no pay-to-win advantage here. But my experience with Birdio has been nothing but positive. The hitboxes are clearer than Enchanted or Commando, and you don't get the visual clutter that Infernal brings to teamfights. For Galio mains who want something fun without sacrificing readability, this is it. Should you buy Birdio if you already own Gatekeeper or Infernal? Maybe wait for a sale, but if you're picking your first Galio skin, this one's definitely worth considering.
