After maining Anivia for three seasons with over 500k mastery points, I finally caved and grabbed Bewitching Batnivia during the Halloween event. My friends kept telling me it was basically pay-to-win for teamfights, and after 80 games with it, they weren't completely wrong about the clarity advantage it gives you.
The Q feels noticeably smoother to throw compared to base skin, and the purple tint makes it easier to track in messy dragon fights where everything's going off at once. But what really makes this skin worth is the ult visibility. Festival Queen might have better particles overall, but Bewitching's ult circle is probably the clearest indicator I've seen on any Anivia skin, especially when you're trying to zone people off objectives. The wall looks insane too with that spooky purple glow, though it's purely cosmetic and doesn't actually help with placement timing. During a baron dance yesterday, enemy Yasuo literally walked into my ult three times because he couldn't tell where the edge was in river bushes, something that rarely happened when I used Blackfrost.
Is Bewitching Batnivia worth it compared to other Anivia skins? For the 1350 RP price, you're getting solid value if you play her regularly. The recall animation where she turns into a bat is tilted levels of good, and those cleaner animations on Q and E genuinely help with combos. It's not quite Blackfrost tier in terms of overall quality, but the competitive edge from better spell clarity makes it my go-to for ranked games now. If you're deciding between this and Paper Craft, definitely grab Bewitching instead.
