Been spamming Battlecast Nasus for about 80 games now after getting it from a mystery chest, and honestly this skin hits different than I expected. The Q stacks feel way more satisfying with that mechanical thud sound, and the red energy effects make last hitting in lane somehow more addictive. Compared to other Nasus skins like Infernal or Dreadknight, this one's probably the smoothest for actually playing the champ.
The W animation is insane for clarity, you can actually see the exact range with those tech circles before you cast it. But what really sold me was using ult during a dragon fight yesterday. The transformation into that massive mech dog with the jet engines firing made the enemy ADC literally flash away before I even got close. The Q animation cancel feels cleaner too, especially when you're trying to weave autos between stacks. Around 300 stacks the visual effects start getting crazy with the energy buildup on your cane.
Is Battlecast Nasus worth it though? After my experience with Battlecast Nasus, I'd say it's purely cosmetic but tilts enemies harder than base skin. The recall where you transform into vehicle mode is sick, and the voice filter makes you sound like an actual raid boss. Coming from someone who usually rocks Lunar Guardian, this skin makes the champ feel less clunky in teamfights. The hitbox visibility on E is better too since the circle's more defined with those tech lines.
For Nasus mains wondering if they should buy Battlecast Nasus, grab it if you see it on sale. Full price might be steep but the skin aged really well compared to his older ones.
