Battle Wolf Sylas

Been maining Sylas for three seasons now with 600k mastery points, and Battle Wolf might actually be my new go-to skin over Freljord. The wolf aesthetic completely changes how his abilities feel in game, especially when you're chain-stealing ults in teamfights.

The Q whip feels way more responsive compared to base skin, with the wolf spirit effects making the explosion radius clearer for both you and enemies. His W kingslayer has this satisfying bite animation that makes the heal timing more obvious, which I've noticed helps me clutch those close 1v1s better. But the real difference is the E chains having this ghostly wolf trail that somehow makes the second cast feel faster even though it's probably the same frame data. During a baron fight yesterday, I landed a max range E2 on their fed ADC through three people and the visual clarity was insane compared to PROJECT where everything blends together in teamfights.

After 80 games with Battle Wolf Sylas, I'd say it's worth the 1350 RP if you play him regularly. The recall animation alone where he summons the pack is sick, but more importantly, the skin doesn't feel clunky like Lunar Wraith does. Is Battle Wolf Sylas worth it for casual players though? Maybe not, since it's purely cosmetic with no actual advantage. The ult steal animation is slightly cleaner but nothing that'll make you suddenly pop off if you're already inting.

For anyone comparing Battle Wolf Sylas to other skins in his collection, this one sits right between Freljord's smoothness and PROJECT's flashiness. Definitely grab it if you see it in Your Shop, but don't stress if you already own Freljord since that one's still top tier for tryharding in ranked.
