Battle Regalia Poppy

Just grabbed Battle Regalia Poppy from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Star Guardian. After about 40 games though, this skin's grown on me way more than I thought it would. The whole medieval knight aesthetic hits different when you're actually playing her, and there's something satisfying about the armor clanking sounds that the base skin just doesn't have.

The Q feels heavier somehow, like there's actual weight behind that hammer slam when you're last hitting minions or poking in lane. Her W shield pop has this metallic ring to it that makes it easier to track in teamfights, which actually saved me during a dragon fight yesterday when three people tried to dash onto my ADC. But what really sells it is the ult animation being cleaner than most of her other skins. I swear the windup feels faster even though it's probably the same frames, and enemies seem to misjudge the range more often compared to when I play Star Guardian where that sparkly hammer telegraph is super obvious.

Is Battle Regalia Poppy worth it compared to other Poppy skins? For 520 RP it's definitely one of her better value picks. It's purely cosmetic but the visual clarity on abilities actually feels like an advantage sometimes, especially her E wall stun which has a more distinct impact effect. Not quite pay to win but there's something to be said for skins that make your abilities feel more responsive. If you're a Poppy main looking for something that won't tilt you with clunky animations, this one's solid. Maybe wait for a sale if you're not in a rush, but it's become my go to for ranked games now.
