Battle Queen Janna

Bought Battle Queen Janna after getting absolutely destroyed by one in my diamond promos, and after 80 games with it, I can confidently say this skin changes how you play her. The Q tornado feels way more responsive than base or even Sacred Sword, probably because the wind-up animation is cleaner and easier to track in teamfights. Her W slow has this purple crystalline effect that makes it super obvious when you're spacing correctly in lane, which honestly helped me land more bubble combos than I expected.

The shield is where this skin really shines though. During a baron fight yesterday, my ADC was getting dove by their fed Zed and I could instantly see my E duration through all the chaos thanks to the bright pink glow. Compare that to Forecast Janna where the shield sometimes blends into river fights, and it's night and day. Battle Queen's ult feels slightly faster too, like the knockback registers a frame or two quicker, though that might just be the smoother animation making it seem that way.

Is Battle Queen Janna worth it compared to other Janna skins? For 1350 RP, you're getting way more clarity than Star Guardian or Bewitching, even if those have better recalls. The skin isn't pay-to-win exactly, but the visual clarity definitely gives you an edge when fights get messy. My experience with Battle Queen Janna has been nothing but positive, and I'd recommend it to any support main who wants to actually see what they're doing in late game 5v5s. Just don't expect to hit more tornadoes suddenly, that's still on you to not int your positioning.
