✨ Ranked Ready High MMR Accounts Restocked
Finally got around to trying Astronaut Xerath after seeing it in my shop for months, and honestly the skin completely changes how the champion feels to play. Grabbed it during the last sale and I've put in around 70 games since then, mostly in ranked where every bit of visual clarity matters.
The Q charge feels way smoother than base skin, with that space energy buildup that actually helps me gauge the range better. His W drops like a satellite strike now instead of just generic magic, and the impact zone is probably clearer to read in teamfights. But the real game changer is the ult. Those cosmic missiles are insanely easier to track compared to other Xerath skins, especially Battlecast which I used before. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to snipe their ADC through fog because the projectile trail was so clean I could predict where they'd dodge. The recall animation where he floats in zero gravity is just pure style points too.
Compared to other Xerath skins this one sits at the top for competitive play. It's not exactly pay-to-win but the cleaner animations definitely give you an edge when you're trying to land those max range Qs in lane. The 1350 RP price feels worth it if you're planning to main him, though casual players might want to wait for a sale.
Is Astronaut Xerath worth it? For anyone who plays artillery mages regularly, absolutely. The visual clarity alone makes it better than skins twice the price, and after my experience with Astronaut Xerath I can't imagine going back to the clunkier options. Just know you'll tilt enemies harder when you're popping off with space lasers.
